Andrew Black

Andrew Black is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience in senior leadership, financial management, and large-scale team operations. For the past 12 years, his career has focused on the health and Indigenous non-profit sectors, where he has developed a strong interest in improving health delivery for regional and remote communities.

Andrew now operates a successful consultancy in this space while undertaking a mid-life career change, returning to university to study Occupational Therapy. This unique blend of financial expertise and human-centred focus reflects his commitment to creating lasting, positive impact across both organisational and community levels.

An ethical decision maker, Andrew is driven by values of inclusivity and fairness. He has a particular passion for organisational policy and governance, believing that strong, fair processes are the foundation for effective decision-making.

Andrew and his family have been part of the school community for several years. His daughter is currently in Year 1 at Dalmain. Alongside his involvement with the school board, Andrew also serves as Treasurer on the Board of the Community and Adult Literacy Foundation (CALF).
